The Yamaha YZF MT-07 2025 is one of the most loved middleweight naked bikes in the world. It has a sharp, muscular design that gives it a very aggressive street look. The bike is built for riders who want power but also comfort in everyday use. Yamaha designed it as a “Hyper Naked” motorcycle, which means it balances between performance and easy handling. It is a great choice for both city rides and highway touring. Many young riders love the MT-07 because it looks stylish, feels fast, and is practical at the same time.

Engine and Performance

The Yamaha MT-07 comes with a 689cc parallel-twin engine, which is known for its smooth power delivery. This engine produces around 73 horsepower and 67 Nm of torque, which is more than enough for thrilling acceleration. The bike can go from 0 to 100 km/h in just around 4 seconds, making it quite quick for its segment. Yamaha uses a Crossplane Crankshaft (CP2) design, which gives the engine a unique sound and strong mid-range pull. This means the bike performs really well when overtaking and does not struggle even at high speeds on highways.

Riding Comfort and Handling

One of the main reasons people love the MT-07 is its rider-friendly nature. The seat height is about 805 mm, which makes it accessible for most riders, even those who are not very tall. The handlebar position is upright, so the rider does not have to bend too much. This helps in reducing back pain during long rides. The bike is also light in weight compared to other 700cc bikes, making it easy to control in traffic. Yamaha has given it a strong suspension setup, which keeps the ride stable even on slightly rough roads.

Features and Technology

The Yamaha MT-07 may look simple, but it is equipped with modern features. It has a full-color TFT display, which shows speed, rpm, gear position, fuel range, and more. The bike comes with LED headlights and taillights, giving it a sharp look. For safety, it has dual-channel ABS, which prevents wheel lock during sudden braking. However, Yamaha has kept the MT-07 simple compared to its bigger siblings like MT-09, so you don’t get traction control or riding modes. Still, many riders appreciate its raw feel without too many electronic restrictions.

Price and Availability

In the international market, the Yamaha MT-07 is priced around $8,200 (approx. ₹6.8 lakh in India if imported). Unfortunately, Yamaha has not officially launched the MT-07 in India yet. If it comes, the price may go up to around ₹7–7.5 lakh ex-showroom, depending on taxes and regulations. Even though it is not yet available, many Indian riders are hoping Yamaha will launch it soon because of the rising demand for middleweight bikes.
